Briercliffe Parish Council
The Council comprises of nine elected councillors who are unpaid volunteers. The Council employs a part-time Clerk and a Responsible Finance Officer. We manage and fund a range of activities including maintenance of Council-owned common land ; management of the allotments and the inspection and maintenance of trees. We also review and comment on all planning applications; coordinate with Burnley Borough Council on issues that affect the Parish and help
deal with local issues raised by Parishioners.

Normally meetings of the Parish Council are held at the Briercliffe Community Centre on Jubilee Street each third Tuesday of the month.
